Lupinus is Latin and means lupine flower. As a plant, lupine is beautiful, resilient, and evergreen. It is also said to be a plant that pushes other plants out of their comfort zones, and that's what traveling is at its best and worst.
Lupinus is a travel agency run by a Finnish woman who shares experiences, atmospheres, and joy. Lupinus is not a traditional office working from nine to five but an innovative think tank with the ultimate goal of bringing joy. My two greatest passions are sports and travel. The best way to vacation is to travel to sporting events, combining these two passions. On my trips, I have discovered hidden gems of active holidays and ended up in places where others do not. I now want to share these experiences and hidden spots with you.

“A very pleasant rally and holiday trip to Poland. We stayed in a small SPA hotel surrounded by beautiful nature. Every day, a very comfortable minibus took us between the stages, the hotel and the airport. We watched 1-2 stages a day to keep the pace relaxed and to return to the hotel at a reasonable time to enjoy the sauna, pool and lake. Everything was perfectly organized, and we didn’t have to think about anything ourselves. Thanks to Saana for a well-organized trip! ;)”
“Our trip went excellently. Before departure, it looked like it would rain the whole time, but the weather turned out to be perfect.
We walked extensively, cycled, and visited the spa. A nice bonus was that bus trips were free on weekends. We also visited a stalactite cave with an interesting story. It was more of a natural cave rather than a traditional stalactite cave, although there were some stalactites. An amazing one-man life’s work.
The small town was excellent, more suitable for us than, for example, Bad Gastein. We managed to visit there for a couple of days as well.
The hotel was good, the only downside was the restaurant staff. They seemed to have forgotten friendliness and service, especially when dealing with foreigners and having to speak English. The food was good, though.
Elsewhere in the town, everyone was extremely friendly, both locals and tourists.
We enjoyed the lack of crowds and the stunning scenery.
The transport and flights went well. Our luggage arrived at the right time and place.
