“Our trip went excellently. Before departure, it looked like it would rain the whole time, but the weather turned out to be perfect.
We walked extensively, cycled, and visited the spa. A nice bonus was that bus trips were free on weekends. We also visited a stalactite cave with an interesting story. It was more of a natural cave rather than a traditional stalactite cave, although there were some stalactites. An amazing one-man life’s work.
The small town was excellent, more suitable for us than, for example, Bad Gastein. We managed to visit there for a couple of days as well.
The hotel was good, the only downside was the restaurant staff. They seemed to have forgotten friendliness and service, especially when dealing with foreigners and having to speak English. The food was good, though.
Elsewhere in the town, everyone was extremely friendly, both locals and tourists.
We enjoyed the lack of crowds and the stunning scenery.
The transport and flights went well. Our luggage arrived at the right time and place.
